Licensed tax advisor (license no. 11928), graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics.

Szymon has nearly 20 years of experience in tax advisory for enterprises, including international capital groups. He worked as an expert in Big Four companies (Deloitte, PwC) and as an independent advisor.

He gained practical experience in the functioning of tax departments as a tax manager in one of the largest banking groups in the world, where he was responsible for all tax settlements of the Polish entity of the group and for selected international tax procedures.

He has extensive experience in:

• ongoing tax advice
• due diligence projects
• structuring of mergers, acquisitions and sales of enterprises and organized parts of enterprises
• giving opinions on contracts, new products and transactions
• streamlining tax processes, increasing the efficiency of settlements (e.g. in terms of the VAT rate)
• analysis of complex international transactions
• preparation of letters and applications to tax authorities and participation in tax proceedings
• participation in financial and tax audits (as a member of the audit team and as a representative of the audited entity).

He is fluent in English.
